Baptism & Mission President Visit

When we are out learning the area, meeting people and sharing the gospel, I am snapping pictures. The living conditions of the people are very humble. The people of Guyana are friendly  and very welcoming. Saturday our Mission President and Sister Mehr stopped by for a short visit. We attended the baptism in Rose Hall Branch. The Elders are working very hard and the gospel is being taught. They are having much success in this area. We had a great number of people to come for the free eye clinic. About a 150 people were seen in Canje and about 50 in Rosingnal. It was a successful humanitarian service. There is a three day eye clinic in Georgetown this week. We will be there Thursday & Friday unless plans change and they do daily as the phone rings. We are happy to be busy. We are adjusting and we feel and recognize the Lord's blessings in our lives. There is much to do and learn.
